Albert Nells - Navajo Silversmith
Self taught silversmith, Albert Nells, uses only those stones associated with the four sacred mountains that define the traditional Navajo land.
Albert is influenced by Navajo rug designs and began to use colors that represent the four directions, as in coral, turquoise, jet and white shell for his intricate inlay work. Albert's work can also be seen at the noted Heard Museum.
